Pink Pepper (my 2nd favorite essential oil)

Pink is cute color, I like it.

“What?? Theres such thing as pink pepper???”

I KNOW, I WAS SURPISED TOO. It’s tubular.

And, the best part is, there is an essential oil called Pink Pepper, it has AWESOME benefits, and it smells AMAZING. Let’s dive right into this and find out more cool stuff, shall we….

Pink Pepper:

This ~amazing~ essential oil has been used for herbal solutions and healing. It has a sweet, warm aroma to it. When you inhale its scent, a hint of spice and woody-fruity lingers around. It’s calming, soothing, and promotes a sense of alerteness. My favorite thing to do when I’m studying is to diffuse a drop or two in my diffuser. And, my second favorite thing to do when I’m trying to calm my brain is to inhale it after I rub my hands with it. It has really helped me!

If you want to add this to your collection of ~𝒶𝓌𝑒𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒~ you can click here! I use doterra because when you sign up with them you get a wholesale discount. But, there are definitely other companies that sell pink pepper too 🙂

Magic: Essential Oils

Quote of TRUTH“Essential Oils plants… exists not for themselves alone. They produce the chemistries all life needs to live, and they heal other organisms that are ill.” – Stephen Harrod Buhner

author’s note: I hereby put essential oils under the ‘magic stuff’ category’

– ᗯᕼᗩT? ᗩᖇE? TᕼEY? –

Basically, essential oils are different compounds extracted from plants. Typically, the oils are created through a process called distillation which steams to separate the oil and water-based compounds. This allows all the healing compounds extracted from a plant to be put into a single drop of oil. Did you know that these oils have been used for thousands and thousands of years in different cultures and areas for health purposes and medicine? There are just so many powerful health benefits that you can get from a single drop of essential oil. Yup, fascinating, I know.

Many different oils have their purposes. They can be used to soothe muscles, treat different skin conditions, help an upset stomach, balance hormones, boost immunity, fight infections, boost hair health, and so much more. Depending on what oil you have, there are various ways that they can have of use to you.

– ᗯᕼEᖇE TO ᔕTᗩᖇT –

One of the oil brands that I use is called doTERRA, which is a Latin derivative meaning “Gift of the Earth.”

On their site, there are various oils that you can find along with personal care products, supplements, accessories, diffusers, and more. Their top three most popular essential oils are Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint. They have a kit comprised of just those that they call their Beginner’s Trio Kit, which is one of the many different kits that you can find.

When you become a member, you save 25% on all doTERRA products and other benefits. You can click here to explore the site, check out the oils, and become a member!

And, that’s it for now! There are still so much to learn, different combinations and things you can do with essential oils. But, we will get to more of that later 🙂

happy 2019 everyone !

Yours truly,

L.O.A.S.H

Homemade Acai Bowl

 Fruits! Glorious Fruits!!

Gather the following ingredients:

  • Bananas
  • Mangoes
  • Strawberries
  • Granola

I know right such simpleness. -_- (That’s a real word)

Step 1:

Cut your fruits (7x bananas, 3x mangoes, and 8x strawberries) and put it in the freezer overnight. For the bananas, all you have to do is break it in half. For the mangoes, you should peel it and separate from the skin. For the strawberries, you could just cut it in three pieces each. Place the fruits you cut, peeled and sliced in a container and into the freezer.

Tip #1: You could leave some fruits to chop it and later on put it on top of your acai bowl as a topping.

Tip #2: Don’t forget to place the fruits in the freezer, not the refrigerator.

Step 2:

Good morning!

Get the frozen fruits from your freezer and blend them all!

Tip #1: You don’t have to put all the fruits at once. Especially if it won’t fit or you want to have an easier time blending.

Tip #2: Every now and then, you could push the fruits from the top to the bottom of the blender to help it to blend quicker. BUT MAKE SURE THE BLENDER IS OFF.

Step 3:

Once your fruits are done blending and have a good thick consistency and there aren’t any whole fruits anymore, transfer your mixture into your bowl or bowls.

Step 4:

Top everything off with some granola, freshly sliced bananas, and strawberries.

Step 5:

ENJOY!!

In case you don’t have any strawberries it’s fine! Your acai bowl will still taste amazing! Bananas and Mangoes alone are still a perfect combination. It’s a good breakfast food.
